Job Title : Regional Sales Manager/Head of Sales-Rest of Asia

It is a leading manufacturer of trailer axles, trailer suspension kits and distributes a full range of trailer components with Market Leadership in Asia and significant presence in the global markets, particularly in Australia, South Africa & other parts of Africa and Middle East. York is the largest brand in India and adjoining markets. The company is expanding business globally, entering new markets, forging new alliances and expanding manufacturing capacity. To lead the Regional Sales team in Rest of Asia, we are looking for a dynamic young person for the following position:

 
 

Responsibilities:

 
Responsible for Sales in Rest of Asia except India and China
Developing new accounts and distributors
Expand the customer base and deepen existing client relationships-Trailer builders, Spare part dealers and other OEMs
Increasing interaction and business with Fleets and other End users
Preparing Techno commercial quotations
Compile competitor information and provide inputs to differentiate from competitors
Accounts Receivable management, Sales budgeting and Product forecasting
Sales reporting and MIS
Commercial decision making for the network and management of margins/revenue
Develop promotion programs and take part in trade fairs in conjunction with the Marketing team
Identifying and driving Engineering for New Product Development programs
Imparting Technical training and addressing customer issues with help of technical team
 

Requirements:

 
More than 10 years of experience in Sales Product Management/Technical support in the Automotive/Heavy Duty/Engineering industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering-Automotive, Mechanical or related field. A MBA Degree is preferred
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well in English
Great leadership with the ability to lead and manage a team
Proven record of achieving aggressive revenue targets
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Team player with high degree of initiative and able to work independently
Willingness to travel extensively, with frequent visits even to countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh
Knowledge of at least one SE Asian regional language/Mandarin will be preferred
Based in Singapore Head office or Bangkok Thailand Regional office
